I'm sure most of you have received in the mail yesterday, a packet from Norwood Land Services, LLC containing the permit application for the Geophysical Survey on the Barnett Shale that will be conducted in our neighborhood in the near future. This paperwork is an important first step in the drilling process. After talking with Grady Walker, head of CAMRA, here is a little more specifics about this paperwork and what you will need to do.
First of all, everyone in Remington Park who signed a lease with Titan Operating will be receiving this packet. This packet contains five pages. A cover letter, two pages that have a grayed triangle in the right hand corner with the word RETURN on it and two pages with a gray triangle in the left corner with the word KEEP in it. You will complete all four pages and return the two pages with the gray triangle with the word RETURN in it to Norwood Land Services. The first page is titled "Permit to Conduct a Geophysical Survey". Verify that the listed information is correct. At the bottom of the page there are two boxes. If you live at the address mentioned at the top of the page, put a checkmark in this box. If you received a bonus check as a result of the mineral rights research back in September/October 2008, place a checkmark in this box too. If there are two names in the address line at the top of the page, both individuals must sign and date the permit. If you cannot find your executed Oil and Gas Lease, you can receive another copy by writing your email address in the box to the right of the signature line.
The second page is titled "Permit Questionnaire". Answer each question by placing a checkmark in the appropriate box. Under the Mineral Information, answer them to the best of your knowledge.
Return the pages in the postage paid envelope provided in the packet. If you have any other questions concerning this paperwork, you may contact the permit agent listed at the top of your survey at their cell number or email address. It is important that you return this application ASAP so the process can move forward and gets us one step closer to your royalty checks.
Thank you for your prompt action in this matter.
